There's not much to say about accordions that hasn't already been said. Some people think they are instruments with no redeeming features but that may have more to do with the appalling repertoire that the instrument has, plus the fact that it is played by either hearty men in chunky knitwear or oppressed schoolboys trying to please their parents.
Or maybe it's got something to do with the French. No one is sure.
